Dental Bridges – A highly aesthetic replacement for missing teeth.

Are you someone who struggles to chew since having a tooth out?

Do you hide your smile in photos as your missing teeth embarrass you?

Are you put off by the thought of having to wear a denture to replace the tooth that you lost?

If you are missing one or more teeth you are not alone.  Research by the Australian Dental Association has shown that three million Australians are missing up to a third of their teeth. Luckily, there are several options when it comes to replacing missing teeth, including dental bridges.

A dental bridge is an aesthetic tooth replacement option which is made up of one or more replacement teeth that are held in place by dental crowns.  The dental crowns attach the teeth to the patients remaining teeth or dental implants. Unlike other types of replacement teeth, bridges are considered a “fixed” tooth replacement option. This means they are designed to stay in the mouth once placed.

What do dental bridges look like?

Bridges are designed to look just like your natural teeth. Our dentists work along side highly skilled dental technicians which specialise in making aesthetic dental bridges that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

So will I be able to chew with my dental bridges?

Yes! Dental bridges are fixed in place which prevents them from moving around when you chew.  They are also modelled on your natural teeth. This allows you to chew through your food like there was never a tooth missing.

If your smile and overall health have been impacted by missing teeth, dental bridges may offer an effective solution to get you eating and smiling with confidence once again.
